Why did you become a SLP-A: I became an SLP-A because I wanted to make a difference and help all patients find confidence and be able to advocate for themselves.

Something Personal: I love spending my time watching movies and being with my family

Why did you become a SLP: I have a servant’s heart to help people. Communication and swallowing are essential elements in connecting to people around us through conversation and mealtimes. I love speech and language pathology and the diverse populations that we can treat; womb to tomb, lungs to brain, and everything in-between! It is a very rewarding career giving me the constant ability to serve others and see them flourish.
Something personal: I am happily married to the love of my life, and we have two little boys. We enjoy being outdoors, going camping and visiting our family in Oklahoma

Why did you become a COTA: I love being able to think outside the box to help people become more independent with their everyday tasks.
Niche: Connecting with neuro-spicy kiddos and finding the best way to help them grow.
Something personal: My dog, Milo, happens to be the best, most handsome boy in the world

Why did you become an OT: With early professional training in education and a passion for human development, Mr. Kyle found the switch from formal education (teacher) to occupational therapy an easy one.
Niche: Neurological Rehabilitation, Neurodiversity and Behavioral Habilitation, Pediatric ICU (Burns, trauma), Pediatrics (Developmental)
Something Personal: Mr. Kyle was raised in the mountains between two national parks. He loves the outdoors at all times in the mountains, and from December – May in Coastal Texas! He has 4 kids, some of who have been clients at this very clinic!

Undergrad/grad school: University at Buffalo, Occupational Therapy and Sociology. Masters in occupational therapy from the University at Buffalo
Why did you become an OT: In High School I did a lot of volunteer work in an early intervention pre-school and instantly fell in love with how diverse this profession can be.
Niche: I have been working more with the neurological populations and targeting the visual system. I have a certificate in Primitive Reflex Integration and have been able to apply it to both the pediatric and adult populations.
Something personal: My husband and I have been in Texas for 10 years now, originally from Upstate New York. We have 3 incredible, crazy, loving kids.
