Head & Neck Cancer

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

SLP therapy may include treatment for functional communication of wants/needs, word-finding, decreased speech intelligibility, decreased memory/recall, decreased understanding, decreased ability to independently complete activities of daily living (ADLs), decreased ability to plan, decreased ability to complete tasks in the correct order, swallowing, and more. SLPs treat swallowing, voice, speech, and cognitive linguistics related to Parkinson’s disease. Treatments may include use of therapy protocols, including LSVT-LOUD or SpeakOut, as appropriate. For more information, please visit:

SLPs evaluate and treat aphasia, dysphagia (swallowing disorder) and executive functioning. Therapy may include treatments in the following areas: word-finding, speech intelligibility, memory/recall, understanding, executive functioning skills including time/math/medications/money management, etc., ability plan and execute a task, sequencing, swallowing, and more.
